Welcome to Brockton Speaks

This is the public web portal for Brockton Speaks. We have created this resource to encourage dialogue between the residents of the City of Brockton and our organization.

Brockton Speaks is a group of concerned citizens from every Ward in the city. We function as a think tank, gathering feedback from residents and coming up with solutions for the problems faced in their wards, as well as citywide. It is our intention to work closely with city leaders to effect positive change. We do this by doing the homework for them. Once an issue is brought to our attention in a ward, that ward's Tiger Team will evaluate the issue and begin to form an action plan to resolve it. This may include interaction with city agencies, locating funding resources, passing resolutions or ordinances or many other solutions. It is our goal to tackle not only issues in the individual wards, but also to work at the City level using the same approach. We at Brockton Speaks feel that if we act as agents of change, backed by the support of the residents, that we can provide our leadership with solutions in which the lions share of the work has already been done for them, making it far easier to get things done.
